The Restoration of Sight & Health Scholarship

Dakota Lions Sight & Health is proud to award four scholarships to students in South Dakota and North Dakota.

We will provide a total of $4000, divided into four $1000 scholarships awarded as follows:
$1000 to an undergraduate student from South Dakota
$1000 to an undergraduate student from North Dakota
$1000 to a graduate student from South Dakota
$1000 to a graduate student from North Dakota

Qualified applicants must be pursuing an education in a field related to the Mission of Dakota Lions Sight & Health (Helping to Enable the Restoration of the Gifts of Sight & Health; this may include health professions, science and research, social services, philanthropy, nonprofit organizations, etc.) and attending a post-secondary educational institution (university, college, technical school, etc.) in the states of South Dakota or North Dakota. Final scoring criteria may also include prior application or award, academic aptitude, financial need, and community involvement.

Applications will be open from January 1 through April 30. Decisions will be made in May and the scholarship will be awarded in June. The winners will also be invited to our Sioux Falls headquarters to tour our facility, meet our staff, and learn more about what we do.
